Declutter and Organization Service

Clutter creates chaos and life leaves little time for organizing. After a thorough clean out, our team of professional organizers can implement systems to prevent reoccurring issues and help our clients gain control over their space.

We are swift, professional, and understand that the process of letting go can be emotionally complex. Our clients respond well to the atmosphere of compassion and non-judgment that we create.

The following is included in Decluttering and Organization Services:

General Areas (All Rooms)

  • Sort and group items (keep, donate, trash, relocate)
  • Declutter all surfaces: tables, dressers, counters, and shelves
  • Organize and neatly arrange remaining items
  • Label bins or containers (if provided)
  • Remove visible trash or donation bags as directed by client
  • Light surface wipe-down after organizing

Closets

  • Remove all items and assess by category
  • Fold, hang, or sort clothing by type and season
  • Declutter shoes, bags, and accessories
  • Organize shelves and drawers
  • Recommend or implement storage bins (if available)

Kitchen / Pantry

  • Sort pantry items by type (cans, dry goods, snacks, etc.)
  • Dispose of expired items
  • Organize spice racks, cabinets, and drawers
  • Wipe down shelves before replacing items
  • Group like items together for easy access

Bathroom

  • Sort and organize under-sink storage and medicine cabinets
  • Discard expired or unused products
  • Group items by category (haircare, skincare, dental, etc.)
  • Fold and organize towels, linens, and toiletries

Home Office / Paperwork Area

  • Sort papers: shred, file, or recycle
  • Organize desk drawers, office supplies, and electronics
  • Tidy cords and remove any unnecessary clutter

Kids’ Rooms / Toy Areas

  • Categorize toys, books, and clothing
  • Discard or donate broken or unused items
  • Set up labeled bins or containers (if available)
  • Neatly arrange shelves, cubbies, and drawers

Garage / Utility Areas (if applicable)

  • Group tools and supplies by use
  • Sweep and remove visible dust/debris
  • Discard trash or broken items (if approved by client)
  • Organize seasonal decor, bins, and household extras

Note: Client input is welcomed during this service. We also offer haul-away or donation drop-off services upon request (may incur additional fee).
